I just about fell out of my seat a few moments ago. John and I are what you may call fans of Brian Greene and deeply respect his writings about quantum physics. I was not aware that one of these works, The Elegant Universe, had been turned into a PBS Nova series. And better yet, it is available online! And by available, I mean free to watch streaming video of!
At first, when I stumbled upon the site (using StumbleUpon) I thought to myself, “Hey, that is titled the same as that one book John and I like so much.” When I searched a little more into the site, I found that it was indeed a series from Brian Greene himself. I can’t wait to hunker down and get into this. Why, oh WHY, must I go to school tonight?!?
I am now a huge Brian Greene fan thanks to John. I’m about half-way through Fabric of the Cosmos and find every word stimulating and intriguing. I’ve heard of the Elegant Series, but wasn’t aware it was available online!! I will have to start looking/watching it, thanks for sharing the find
